"I went to the Music Theatre Lab for 3 years in a row, and it's changed my life.  The teachers and my peers were amazing!  The environment is encouraging and welcoming. The teachers and faculty are always there to talk, and give advice on everything from dance to life plans. The Lab is an environment and a space that fosters nothing but positivity and hard work, and as such it's so easy to push yourself and learn. I cannot thank the teachers enough."

Fun Story: When I was twelve, James Lapine came in to talk with all of us and he had mentioned that “Shrek” and “Spiderman” were probably going to come to Broadway. And twelve-year-old me is sitting there writing, “Those are the weirdest ideas I have ever heard!” Flash forward a couple years, and both “Shrek” and “Spiderman” are on Broadway; and we are learning choreography with Chase Brock from “Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark” at Martha’s Vineyard... You never know who you will meet at the theatre lab!"

"I'm so grateful to have been a part of the Musical Theatre Lab. The incredible faculty taught me so much and pushed me to explore new aspects about myself as a performer and as a person. Each and every person I met was kind, helpful, and passionate about what they were doing. I came out of this program a stronger dancer, a more knowledgeable singer and actor, and I made amazing connections that I treasure. I completely mean it when I say this program changed my life!"

So fortunate to have true working professionals guiding the future of broadway at the musical theater lab. So thrilled for our daughter to experience this and all of them first hand.

Thank you MTL!
